Director, Global Change Management Partner

The Director of Global Change Management Partner will lead the design and execution of change strategies to enable successful adoption of the CMO programs including CRM (CFC and Marketing) programs. This role ensures smooth transitions to new ways of working, drives stakeholder engagement, and fosters a culture of change readiness across global, regional, and local teams. The position combines strategic planning, operational leadership, and communication excellence to deliver measurable business impact.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strategic vision, operational rigor, and strong stakeholder engagement skills to align commercial, marketing, and content operations under one connected change journey.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Global Change Management Partner will primarily be accountable for delivering the following:

Life Cycle of Change Management

Strategy Development, Impact Assessment, Communication, Training & Coaching, Stakeholder Engagement, adaptation/buy-in, Monitoring & Reporting, Integration

Change Strategy & Governance

Develop and execute a global change orchestration strategy for CRM (Marketing and CFC) platforms aligned to program objectives.

Define the change roadmap aligned with global commercial excellence and program objectives.

Partners with global, regional and governance leaders to align adoption KPIs, success measures, and implementation priorities.

Conduct impact assessments to identify how changes will affect different departments and roles and developing mitigation strategies for potential challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments to identify potential risks and resistance points related to system or software deployments, developing mitigation strategies proactively.

Serve as the strategic liaison between global, regional teams, and local markets to ensure alignment on change plans, rollout timing, and dependencies.

Design and deliver structured communications, leadership updates, and enablement materials that drive awareness, clarity, and engagement.

Facilitate change management related cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Digital, Product, Medical, and Compliance stakeholders in partnership with Program orchestration partner

Deployment, Adoption & Enablement

Inform/Partner with deployment lead in facilitating the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to present deployment requests, assess risks, and secure necessary approvals for all production changes.

Inform/Partner with Deployment lead on aligning with change activities with program milestones for market readiness and global rollout

Accountable to collaborate with training colleagues ensuring designing and execution of training, learning journeys, and community-of-practice forums to embed new ways of working.

Support market readiness assessments, gap analysis, and tailored change interventions based on maturity levels and local needs.

Activate change champion networks to accelerate adoption especially in local markets in partnership with deployment lead

Monitor adoption and change effectiveness metrics and provide insights to continuously optimize global-to-local support.

Continuous Improvement & Insights

Capture lessons learned, best practices, and change success stories to accelerate transformation maturity across markets.

Partner with deployment lead, program team, in market PM's, MEL's, CFC's and pilot in command to translate user feedback and business insights into actionable recommendations for global platform enhancements and process improvements.

Ensure successful deployment of programs to markets by coordinating effectively with the Global Program Orchestration Partners, deployment leads and in market PMs.

Establish a standardized, repeatable process for executive level status reporting and escalations (to remove risk)

Ensure programs have identified outcome-based OKRs/measurable metrics to achieve business value and monitor results.

Ensure all stakeholders are well versed in the areas of execution as to achieve key, shared milestones.

Partners across CMO/GCEE, Digital, Medical/R&D, Legal, Corp Compliance and Commercial Sales Businesses to ensure seamless delivery of Marketer and CFC priorities/capabilities.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

BS/BA Required

8+ years of commercial industry experience or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge of formal change management methodologies and tools (e.g., Lewin's 3-Step Model, Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, ITIL framework) and practical experience applying them to deployment projects.

Proven and dedicated change management experience (3-5 years) in change management roles, with firsthand experience managing complex deployments.

Ability to develop change management strategy without dependency on external consultants.

Strategic and pragmatic – able to translate global vision into actionable, market-level impact.

Systems thinker – understands interdependencies between people, process, data, and technology

Demonstrated history leading business transformation and innovation across functions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to non-technical stakeholders and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.

Global leadership experience includes leading complex projects and people in a matrixed environment.

Delivery of exceptional colleague/customer services and experiences

Excellence in driving highly collaborative and productive cross-functional relationships

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

Ability to develop change management strategy without dependency on external consultants is highly preferred.

Highly accountable; possessing a high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness.

Ability to work hard and operate under pressure with what it takes to get it done attitude

Track record of delivering complex change management initiatives.

Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in an expedited timeline.

Prior experience in delivering Artificial Intelligence Capabilities

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
