Build strong relationships with business leaders and act as a trusted strategic advisor across all areas of security, fraud, and company financial risk
Lead our digital fraud team to minimize bad debt loss and risk across all online and in-store payment methods by utilizing a variety of systems and tools
Design and lead enterprise-wide fraud prevention programs to minimize fraud occurrences and heighten security standards in partnership with cross functional teams
Implement fraud detection tools and behavioral analytics to proactively identify and mitigate fraud threats on both the buyer and seller side
Engage with financial institutions, law enforcement, and external threat intelligence partners to strengthen company security defenses and share necessary intelligence
Lead fraud incident response planning, preparedness, and execution as well as post incident reviews
Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Product teams to embed security controls in digital platforms, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems
Establish and monitor key performance indicators for security posture and threat management
Develop proactive communication channels and tools for our buyers and sellers with high degrees of fraud risk to properly review and disposition
Take a lead role in bringing all cross functional teams together to identify fraud and security risk vulnerabilities with an ongoing check in on performance and identifying emerging risks
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of progressive experience leading digital fraud and risk management teams. Preferably within the retail, luxury, and e-commerce industries
Proven ability to develop and implement Fraud and Security strategies, programs, and processes
Proven leadership experience with cross functional teams in complex digital environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Comfortable with ambiguity and has the ability to understand, assess, and make strong recommendations
Ability to build strong cross functional relationships and open to feedback across all areas of the business
Strong project management experience
Ability to travel <10%
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with luxury retail or high-net-worth customer segments
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven fraud detection platforms and modern e-commerce technologies
Knowledgeable of Google Suite or Microsoft Suite
Compensation, Benefits, + PerksThe expected salary range for this role is $150,000-$165,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package.
