The KinderCare Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team is responsible for providing executive leadership with an accurate and comprehensive analysis, at an enterprise-level, of the financial status and earnings outlook in order to drive business decisions and actions.The Director of Field Finance is a key member of the FP&A team providing strategic direction and partnership to the Field Leadership and Field Finance teams. The Director of Field Finance will be responsible for: Strategic analysis, guidance and influence: partnering with Regional Vice Presidents and the VP of Field Finance to continue to accelerate the growth of KinderCare based on financial and operational decisions driven by strategy.Responsibilities:Drive action-oriented results from the KinderCare Field Finance team in their support of Regional Vice Presidents and District ManagersResponsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, analytical decision support tools, and reporting driving field leadership decisions.Create efficient processes and practices that allow the Field Finance team to deliver support while adapting to shifting priorities.Contribute to the management of all aspects of the KinderCare P&L including revenue, labor margin, and center operating expenses.Provides financial and business analysis support for new center investment decisions and market prioritization including tracking new center financial performance KPIs.Support development and preparation of key monthly executive business reviews.Partner with VP of Field Finance to lead the weekly and monthly forecast, and the annual budgeting and tuition pricing process.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in finance, economics or business required; MBA preferredMinimum 10 years’ experience in finance or corporate strategyMulti-location experience a significant plusExpertise in analytic decision-makingDemonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders to guide and influence decisions leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop, motivate and inspire a teamProven ability to analyze complex financial information and identify potential problems, develop viable alternatives and convey alternatives to external and internal clients/stakeholdersStrong experience working with executive leadership and operational business leaders.Experience driving operational change through financial and operational analysis, working in partnership with operational leaders.Experience in successfully implementing change management programs that significantly increased operational maturity and delivered measurable financial impact.Demonstrated experience in managing revenue budgeting and forecast processes.Ability to prepare and deliver executive level presentations.A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority, from business owners and CEOs to junior staff.
