Salary Mid-Point: $137,500 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Permanent Our client, a large Financial Institution, is seeking an experienced Director, Finance to lead the build-out and processes under a strong governance and control framework. This newly created role will play a key part in consolidating and overseeing all regulatory reporting deliverables including OSFI, IIROC, and other financial regulatory filings across the bank's Canadian entities.

You will be responsible for managing the BAU preparation of regulatory statements, supporting regulatory change initiatives, and implementing best-in-class controls. This is a high-impact leadership role with a strong emphasis on controls, governance, and regulatory transformation.

The Key Responsibilities include the following;  Lead and manage a newly created team responsible for the bank's consolidated regulatory reporting requirements Oversee the preparation and review of routine regulatory filings including OSFI, IIROC, and other applicable requirements Partner with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and governance structures across regulatory reporting processes To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; CPA designation required 7+ years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, external audit, financial reporting, or risk and controls, preferably within a large financial institution or Big 4 accounting firm Strong understanding of capital markets is preferred If you have the skills required to be successful in this role and you would like to learn more, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to Shawn Bullen CPA, CA at shawn@ifgpr.com.
