Job Description

TEAM SUMMARY

The Visa Commercial Solutions global platform (VCS) team has overall responsibility for all aspects of platform strategy, development, and management for commercial platforms.  VCS serves clients engaged in providing payment products to small business, middle market, large corporate/multinational companies, and governments.

Role Summary:

Visa is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director to lead our embedded payments integration, SaaS connectors, and our System Integrator (SI) engagement strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying and mapping customer requirements, designing a scalable integration architecture, and selecting,  contracting, and managing SI partners to accelerate the integration of Visa’s virtual payment capabilities into SaaS solutions.

The Director will play a pivotal role in scaling our Embedded Payments program, and be passionate about bridging stakeholders from sales, marketing, products, and engineering teams across organizations to address and solve customer problems.  This role requires strong customer acumen, business to business payments experience, creative problem solving, and excellent knowledge of business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management Leadership

Solve customer problems by properly researching, identifying, and validating pain points and solutions.Research and analyze market presence, functionality, and technical foundations of SaaS business applications such as ERP, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, vertically integrated solutions, and expense management platforms.Work with product managers and technology teams to set product direction and roadmap and build reusable components and define integration workflows and technical requirements.Manage the full lifecycle from inception to production, including prototyping, and user acceptance testing,Drive customer adoption  from pre-sales solution architecture to defining and running pilots with the purpose of achieving successful implementations

SI Strategy & Execution

Lead the development and execution of the SI Build track as outlined in the FY26 Embedded Payments plan.Identify and prioritize SIs with deep expertise in ERP (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP), P2P platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba), vertical SaaS (e.g., construction, healthcare), and expense platforms (e.g., Concur, Expensify).Manage RFI/RFP processes, vendor onboarding, and contracting (SOWs, licensing, compliance).Oversee co-development efforts between Visa and SIs, ensuring timely delivery of integrations

Partner Enablement & GTM

Support go-to-market efforts by aligning SI-built integrations with Visa’s commercial, marketing, and financial services sales and services teams.Drive cross-functional engagement across SI and Visa teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption at key accounts.Support co-marketing and joint sales enablement plans with SIs and ERP/P2P/Expense vendors partners and represent the company and team at customer forums, events.Provide solution overviews and technical support to Visa’s sales and client services teams

Management & Reporting

Track progress against integration milestones, partner onboarding, and revenue activation targets.Manage budgets for SI development funds and licensing costs.Report on KPIs including number of integrations, partner satisfaction, and contribution to  2030 revenue goal.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD10+ years of experience in product partnerships, systems integration, or enterprise software delivery.Deep understanding of ERP/accounting platforms, P2P systems, vertical SaaS, and expense management tools.Proven experience managing third-party vendors, especially global SIs (e.g., Accenture, EY, Wipro).Strong technical acumen in APIs, middleware (iPaaS), and embedded finance.Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS is highly desirable.Travel 20%_ for customer and partner engagementsFamiliarity with Visa Developer Platform (VDP) or developer platforms and virtual card issuance.Experience working in a matrixed global organization.Experience in procurement and contracting with vendors and partnership agreements,Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 10-20% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178,400.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
