Director, Digital Portfolio Lead
Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and governance of digital initiatives within the R&D organization. This role will be accountable for establishing and running the portfolio governance of the $25 million annual spend in platform and transformational digital investments. The person will partner with the I&T Portfolio group to align with their processes as will as the IRB governance for R&D Capital spend. The role has accountability for the transparency and the value realization tracking of the Digital Investments. **Main** **Responsibilities & Accountabilities** •Lead the end-to-end management of the R&D digital portfolio, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals •Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, IT, and data science, to ensure that digital initiatives align with strategic R&D goals and objectives •Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to keep senior leadership informed of progress and performance •Facilitate governance processes, including R&D Digital Steering Committees and RDLT reviews, ensuring clear decision-making and alignment on digital investments •Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the portfolio, and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of digital initiatives •Support the R&D Digital Strategy and Delivery Lead in translating the strategic vision into executable programs, ensuring alignment with the overall digital roadmap •Ensure consistent use of agile project management methodologies and tools across all digital initiatives to standardize and optimize project execution **Qualifications & Experience Requirements** •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Information Technology, or a related field •12+ years of experience in digital portfolio management, program management, or strategic planning within an R&D or innovation-driven environment •Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional portfolios, including prioritizing competing initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations •Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams **Our Benefits** CSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
