Job DescriptionThe Director of Dealer Strategy is responsible for overseeing and developing strategies related to the dealer network within the business development organization. This roles involves managing dealer development, dealer management functions, and new dealer initiatives that align with overall business objectives.
Lead initiatives for expanding and optimizing the dealer network by addressing gaps and strategically expanding or consolidating dealer locationsOversee the management of existing dealer relationships and performance, implementing a performance evaluation framework to drive accountability, improve outcomes, and foster strong partnerships.Partner with real estate and development teams to identify, evaluate, and execute new site opportunities.Develop and implement strategic plans for the dealer channel, including comprehensive dealer business plans and dealer growth opportunities.Leverage market insights to unlock new revenue streams, enhance sales channels, and expand into high-potential areasEvaluate existing network performance based on revenue, operational efficiency, and traffic flow, and understand gaps in geographic coverage and customer demand.Model behaviors that support Pilot Flying J’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredMBA preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceProven ability to develop and execute strategic plansStrong leadership and team management skillsExperience with P&L ownership and growth executionAdditional InformationNation-wide Medical Plan/Dental/Vision
