CoStar Risk Analytics, located in Boston, MA, works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business, appropriately price loans, make informed approval of credits, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework. Our clients include both public and private lenders, ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.
Role Description: The CoStar Risk Analytics team is looking for a Director who will be a subject matter expert acting as a liaison with customers/clients, business and sales professionals to drive growth and success of the CoStar’s Debt products. This individual will build and drive relationships with market participants across the commercial real estate debt spectrum. Our solutions provide lenders and CMBS investors with the ability to better target opportunity, make informed credit decisions, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework. They will play a critical role in educating clients on the power of CoStar’s new lending solution, training the broader sales force, and working as part of the CoStar Risk Analytics business to execute overall strategy. This individual will need to have a broad understanding of Commercial Real Estate Lending and experience within a sales or a role acting as a liaison between sales and product and customers.
Responsibilities:
Be the go to resource and liaison between clients, sales and the business on all matters related to CoStar’s portfolio lender product Develop deep functional knowledge of the lender product and be able to articulate to clients and sales people Act as the main point of contact for customers/clients and sales professionals for all technical inquiries related to the Lender product Possess extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market, lending products, regulations and trends Develop strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders including sales, marketing and product Drive strategic relationships across the commercial real estate lending community including large, mid and small banks and credit unions Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of bank and lending regulations including Capital Adequacy, Stress Testing and Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) Build deep relationships within clients that expand below the C-Suite and include the front, back and middle office Develop sales strategy for the lending product which includes everything from training on the product, client strategy to transaction closing and client success
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College 12+ years of Commercial Real Estate lending experience is strongly preferred; lending experience across other similar products is required 3+ years of experience in a role that required working knowledge of lending regulations including Dodd Frank Stress Testing, Capital Adequacy and CECL 5+ years of experience in a market facing role delivering product to clients/customers, prospects and ensuring successful transactions relationship management skills that include both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver product to end user A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to influence across product, design and engineering.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience in SaaS, enterprise, or multi-platform environments.A track record of commitment to prior employers.Preferred Qualifications:
