We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented individual to lead our Corporate Finance Data & Analytics organization. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading key groups within our organization: Corporate Finance Analytics, Data Science, and Enterprise Finance Data Analytics Governance. As the Director, you will play a critical role in driving our data-driven decision-making culture, enabling the organization to extract insights and develop strategies that align with our business objectives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide and empower your team to deliver innovative and impactful analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team consisting of Analytics, Data Science and Governance professionals.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, ensuring effective communication, and promoting professional development.Set goals and expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and initiate career development programs for team members.Analytics Strategy and Data Science:Partner with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define and refine Finance analytics strategies that align with business objectives.Oversee the development of advanced analytical models and solutions to drive insights, uncover patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.Drive the adoption and leverage of appropriate tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance analytics capabilities within Finance.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance data delivery efficiency and quality.Create strategy for automation in Finance AnalyticsStrategy and Product Ownership:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, product roadmaps, and business objectives.Oversee the execution of strategic projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.Develop and implement frameworks and processes to enable effective ownership, including prioritization, requirements gathering, and user feedback.Stay current with new technologies and influence roadmap for Finance Data and Analytics journey.Enablement and Analytics Governance:Provide thought leadership and guidance on finance data governance, data management, and analytics best practices.Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and educate stakeholders on the value of analytics and its impact on business outcomes.Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Business & Corporate Finance and other relevant teams to ensure the availability, accessibility, and quality of data for analytics initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement:Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, IT, and business leaders, to understand their analytics needs.Proactively engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for analytics innovation and continuous improvement.Advocate for the value and impact of analytics and enablement initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.Act as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and recommendations on data technology, delivery processes, and governance to drive business value and inform decision-making.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance or a technical discipline. Proven experience of 15+ years in analytics, data science, strategy, finance or related roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.Strong understanding of Finance analytics methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and data governance principles.Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving innovation in complex business environments.Proficiency in analytics tools, programming languages (such as Python, R, or SQL), and data visualization platforms.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics concepts into actionable insights.Strong business & Financial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate business challenges and opportunities.Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels.Thrive at work and at home:
