**Description:** **The Opportunity** Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and commercially minded Director, Commercial Ramp Strategy – HIC to lead the commercial launch and performance acceleration of new and transitioning hotels across the Hyatt Inclusive Collection (HIC) globally. This highly influential leadership role is responsible for setting the end-to-end pre-opening and transition commercial strategy, ensuring each hotel enters its market with the right positioning, pricing, marketing, sales activation, and commercial readiness to ramp quickly and sustainably. You will lead a cross-functional team of managers across Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Ramp Strategy, guiding the full commercial ramp lifecycle from concept to stabilization. You enjoy working with others, are results driven and are looking for a variety of opportunities to develop personally and professionally. **The Role** The Director, Commercial Ramp Strategy – HIC is responsible for shaping, leading, and executing the commercial strategy for all pre-opening and transitioning hotels within the Hyatt Inclusive Collection globally. You will leverage a global unified commercial ramp framework that integrates revenue, sales, and marketing, ensuring each property launches with the optimal pricing, positioning, distribution, and demand-generation strategy. You will directly oversee a team of Ramp Strategy Managers (Revenue & Sales), empowering them to execute against the strategic vision you set and ensuring alignment with regional commercial teams across the Americas, EAME, and ASPAC as applicable. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership & Commercial Planning + Define the holistic pre-opening and transition commercial strategy for HIC hotels, ensuring alignment with brand, market, and owner expectations + Establish standardized best practices, playbooks, and performance milestones for ramping new and converting hotels + Partner closely with Global Inclusive Collection teams, regional commercial leaders, and the RVP, Commercial Ramp Strategy & Performance Optimization to ensure strategy alignment Cross-Functional Team Leadership + Lead and mentor a team of Manager-level roles across Revenue, Sales, and Marketing Ramp Strategy + Set priorities, provide strategic guidance, and oversee execution quality across all pre-opening activities + Foster strong collaboration across commercial teams, hotel leadership, and corporate partners Regional & Global Coordination + Serve as the principal commercial lead for openings in HIC, with a dotted-line alignment to EAME & ASPAC for Inclusive Collection ramp initiatives + Ensure cohesive communication and decision-making across regions + Coordinate with regional commercial teams to align hotel positioning, pricing, segmentation, and demand strategies Owner, Stakeholder & Executive Engagement + Act as a strategic advisor to ownership groups and hotel GMs, guiding commercial decisions through pre-opening and early performance + Present commercial readiness plans, performance insights, and recommendations to senior leadership Performance Optimization & Insights + Set and monitor KPIs tied to commercial readiness, forecast accuracy, demand pacing, and early revenue performance + Review data across revenue, sales, and marketing channels to recommend optimizations and identify areas for support + Translate insights into scalable solutions and improvements for future openings across all regions Travel + Up to 20–25%, depending on hotel openings, ownership meetings, and regional coordination needs **Qualifications:** Experience Required: + 8–10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in hospitality (Revenue, Sales, Marketing, or multi-disciplinary commercial roles) within the Latin America market. + Strong experience in all-inclusive resorts and familiarity with key distribution and demand channels + History of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across regions + Experience building and implementing commercial strategies for pre-openings or transitions + Deep understanding of LAC hospitality markets, trends, competitive dynamics, and top feeder markets + Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organization + Strong relationship-building, communication, and executive presentation skills + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Revenue Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field Experience Preferred: + Leadership experience in All Inclusive Collection or similar all-inclusive brands + Experience overseeing multi-property regional portfolios + Demonstrated success in commercial transformation or performance optimization roles + Bilingual fluency English/Spanish strongly preferred The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
