Director, Client Services

The Director in this role will be responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, and operational excellence of a reimbursement HUB. The Director will be responsible for managing patient services personnel, budgets, acting as liaison with assigned customer, and overall leadership of the project.

The Director reports directly to the Senior Director of Patient Access & Support Services. The project will be supporting a major pharmaceutical company with their rare disease HUB inclusive of reimbursement services (Benefits Investigations, Prior Authorization, Appeals, etc), copay, patient assistance, adherence and collaboration with Field Reimbursement Managers.

Job Responsibilities:

· Act as the primary business partner to client leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and transparent communication.

· Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of a full-service HUB supporting multiple.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Solutions, Implementation, Operations, Data & Analytics (DnA), and market access consultants to deliver integrated solutions.

· Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate program performance and identify areas for optimization.

· Participate in governance meetings, QBRs, and strategic planning sessions to represent program interests.

· Provide leadership and direction to Program Managers and supporting staff.

· Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

· Oversee resource allocation, risk mitigation, and performance management across all program initiatives.

· Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and contractual obligations.

· Deliver regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on program status, risks, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or related field.

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in copay assistance, reimbursement services, or patient access programs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Prefer experience with rare disease products.

· Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex client relationships.

· Strong understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit design, and third-party payer systems.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers and specialty pharmacies

· Proven ability to motivate and coach others to drive performance

· Strong organizational skills

· Professional presence in working with internal and external customers and the ability to build collaborative relationships

· Demonstrated experience in effective financial budget management

· Excellent listening and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment

· Advanced computer skills and data base management knowledge with experience in software application including MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)

· Must reside in country where the job is posted.

The potential base pay range for this role is $145,000-$165,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
