I. Job Summary
Responsible for the development, oversight and execution of Centralized Dispatch strategy for the organization. Champion the proliferation of WM Way concepts and principles. Directs the development and execution of organization and related initiatives designed to enhance overall operational results, with focus on Area Dispatch Manager professional development.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages relationship with Area Leadership, primarily Area Optimization Directors and Area Collection Directors to drive customer service, and efficiency improvements through the Areas
Identifies specific areas of opportunity across the business for enhancing our operations, focus on continual improvement. Drive consistent revenue generation improvements across centers by supplying training, performance details and goal setting improvements
Identifies best practices across the organization and determine how to best leverage plans into the overall business; Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with Training team to ensure CD Staff has appropriate training. Provide direction for centers on training initiatives.
Work closely with customer experience, sales and IT to ensure integration with other key business processes and initiatives. Identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one's area and other areas, teams, departments, units or organizations to help achieve business goals.
Contribute to strategies that improve efficiencies, district engagement and drive dispatch centers toward world class performance
Champions change management, encouraging others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; facilitating the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.
Support & implement process changes and new technologies or systems into the field.
Communicate clearly and succinctly, conveying information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations; communicating in a focused and compelling way that drives others' thoughts and actions..
Work with Corporate and Area teams to model pilots and monitor results in order to help develop go-forward tools and strategies.
Providing feedback, instruction and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities; planning and supporting the development of individual skills and abilities..
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
Must live and work in the U.S.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
10+ years or more years’ experience in waste service or other service business
IV. Physical Requirements
Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment.
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $155,085 - $240,775. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
