**Job Description** This role is known for defining, developing, executing and driving global systemization on assigned category and commodity strategies in collaboration with Global Procurement Leadership and the Hertz business stakeholder. This role has an impact on our global procurement program process and improvement; driving financial impact without sacrificing quality, value and service Minimum salary is $115K; commensurate with experience. **What You’ll Do:** + Direct multi-layer, complex cross supplier and stakeholder categories and commodities + Design and execute category projects including but not limited to strategy development, benchmarking, supplier negotiation, SOW/SLA development, award recommendation, business case presentation, risk management assessment and contract negotiation. + Organize and establish multi-national category strategies with international Procurement resources by utilizing strong analytical skills to develop end to end TCO strategies and challenge the way commodities are currently sourced + Provide knowledge and input to stakeholders by undertaking category research on competitive options and industry benchmarks. + Manage high volume of supplier contract negotiations requiring focus on competitive category, mitigating risk and SLA development + Provide leadership in the drafting of contracts and contract management + Able to redline contracts based on business needs + Introduce systems and processes that will improve the category process particularly in complex categories where category solutions must comprehend total cost of ownership + Perform total cost of ownership evaluations.
