What You’ll Be Doing

As a Director & Team Lead, Cash Management, in our Canadian Commercial Banking group, you will not only lead a team of Cash Management professionals, you will cultivate your team to be banking partners and true champions for our clients’ businesses, who will be committed to delivering on flexible business solutions, dedicated business expertise, and timely business advice to help our clients realize their goals and realize their ambitions.  This role touches many diverse industry segments, including National Accounts, Professional Services, Public Sector & Not-for-Profit, Diversified Industries, etc.

How You’ll Succeed

Leadership – Provide active leadership and guidance to Commercial Banking Cash Managers in executing and managing client relationships including delivery of cash management products and services. Build team and individual capabilities to ensure employees are capable of delivering on our value proposition.Client Focus – Create an environment which fosters an exceptional service culture, supports partnering behaviour and capitalizes on individuals’ expertise to provide “best-in-class” service and overall relationship management to a portfolio of clients with complex cash management needs.Business Development – Lead business development activities with prospective and key CIBC clients and represent CIBC in the business community to ensure relationships are developed, solidified and fostered. Develop new client relationships through business development activities leveraging referral sources, existing clients and centres of influence. Actively monitor and manage these relationships by fully understanding our client’s goals, objectives and status of our clients business.

You have knowledge of a diverse marketplace and the needs of medium-sized businesses.You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Values matter to you.
