**What You’ll Be Doing**
The Director, Business and Systems Analysis will lead and manage the Business Analyst team in our Capital Markets Technology group, specifically within the Equity Markets team. You will manage multi-disciplinary projects to implement solutions and develop strategic plans to business problems. You will be leading the business analyst team to develop solutions for our middle and back office technology teams. This involves planning, securing and scheduling resources, defining business requirements, building systems, monitoring progress against agreed timelines, and managing issues and risks. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

**How You’ll Succeed**
+ **Leadership –** Management and performance measurement of a team of business and systems analysts and consultants who are accountable for the delivery of business and system requirements.
+ **Advocate for client needs** – Work with business teams and monitor client satisfaction levels.
+ **Strategic planning** - Ensure that requirements for systems and solutions are aligned with the business goals of the organization
+ **Accountability –** Responsibility for the standardization of artifacts or deliverables delivered through the solution development lifecycle process. Ensure adherence to CIBC requirements standards, work practices, processes, security standards and policies.
+ **Client relationships -** Develop and sustain relationships across the organization in and outside of technology, including negotiation and influence independent of authority.
**Who You Are**
+ **You can** **demonstrate experience in** leading a collaborative team in a fast paced environment. Must have 8+ years of experience working as a BA, while also having hands on experience with SQL, JIRA and Confluence. You have at least 5 years of people leadership experience and at least 8 years of Agile and Waterfall methodology experience. You have strong problem solving skills, stakeholder management abilities, and exceptional organizational skills.Thorough understanding if institutional trading work flow and systems (Fidessa, Iress, Itiviti, Flextrade, Broadridge ADP, Equity Markets Middle and Back-office workflow). Strong asset experience with Web portals development, API’s, SDLC and Data platforms such as Databricks.
