**What You’ll Be Doing**
As Director, Business Discovery and Optimization in the Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement team, you will play a pivotal leadership role in our innovation journey to transform the bank. In this role, you will drive initiatives that optimize processes and operational models across the enterprise, leading a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Analysts to identify opportunities and optimize end-to-end operational flows within Enterprise Channel and beyond. These efforts aims to enhance client experience, drive efficiency, and deliver shareholder value. This highly collaborative role offers exposure across the bank and requires strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and proactive stakeholder management. You will have a proven track record of uncovering opportunities, identifying impactful solutions, and a passion for designing the bank of the future. You will lead cross-functional efforts with partners to identify Digital & AI solutions that drive increased profitability, productivity, and improved client and employee experiences.

**How You’ll Succeed**
+ **Leading discovery and optimization initiatives** - You can lead the optimization team to uncover opportunities and identify quick wins and Digital & AI solutions for enterprise channels and beyond, in collaboration with stakeholders across the Bank.
+ **Enabling New Opportunities** – You proactively seek opportunities to showcase the team’s capabilities to both existing and new stakeholders, positioning the team as a valuable organizational asset.
+ **Pipeline Management** – You can manage an active pipeline of work for the team, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.
+ **Influence our future** – You build expertise in existing CIBC solutions and emerging Digital & AI capabilities. You continuously improve the optimization team’s operating model by adopting best-in-class practices and acting as a thought leader in transformation initiatives.
+ Delivering with Speed: You effectively manage multiple priorities and iterate efficiently with minimal oversight.
+ **Relationship Building** – You establish and cultivate relationships with key business, product and technology teams within CIBC to improve business flexibility and resource optimization. You collaborate with external vendors, where applicable, to support the exploration and deployment of relevant solutions.

+ **You can demonstrate strong experience in leading optimization initiatives** with track record of success, with Process Improvement Methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean concepts. You also have comprehensive knowledge of financial services practices and principles sufficient to analyze and interpret complex concepts and apply these in innovative ways.
