Director, Audit Strategy & Advisory Services

What does a successful Manager, Programs & Strategy do? 

At Fiserv, the Manager, Programs & Strategy plays a pivotal role in supporting the Internal Audit function and in the performance and monitoring of Advisory Services. This role will focus on Advisory Services with responsibilities in other Programs & Strategy initiatives. You will lead strategic project initiatives that align with Fiserv’s strategic objectives, changing regulatory standards, and industry best practices while contributing to the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment process.

What you will do:

Provide strategic consultation to identify risk and determine effective risk mitigation practices.Oversee the execution and final work products for advisory services, ensuring accurate conclusions under the Internal Audit Methodology and Standards.Manage the audit lifecycle, including staffing, scheduling, testing, and fieldwork, ensuring quality and timeliness.Act as an escalation point for complex issues, identifying and implementing remediation measures.Assess gaps, obtain observations, and provide recommendations to business partners.Provide periodic status reports and content for Executive and Board reporting.Recruit, develop, and mentor advisory staff, conducting regular meetings and performance evaluations.Provide flex support to Programs & Strategy, including audit operations, quality assurance, methodology, training, and issue management.

What you will need to have:

8+ years of experience in internal audit, including assurance, advisory, or consulting engagements.Experience in testing control methodologies within financial institutions, including control monitoring, evaluations, and regulatory compliance (e.g., corporate governance, AML/CTF, Financial Crimes, data protection, ethics, or conduct risk).Experience in Info Security/Cyber Security protocols, Accounting and Finance Principles, Internal Controls, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance standards such as FASB, COSO, FFIEC, NIST, or PCI.Prior experience with test development, sampling, statistics, and evidence gathering.Bachelor's degree in internal auditing, accounting, finance, management, information systems, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA or other applicable professional certifications or candidates for certification.Experience in data analysis, mathematics, data warehousing, statistical data mining, and/or data science.Experience with SAS Software, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analysis tools.

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.This role may require travel up to 15% of the timeIn order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
