The role of the Outsourcing Management Director is to act as the lead for one or more supplier(s) within outsourcing model(s) / service line(s) for portfolio deliverables within CTCO . They will be responsible for ensuring the supplier(s) within the model(s) are meeting the operational needs of the customers; ensuring sourcing strategy across CTCO and managing adherence to, ensuring outsourcing effectiveness, appropriate communications, ensuring that selected partners deliver to contract; and that strong relationships with the external suppliers are created and maintained. They ensure our suppliers deliver to the needs of the organisations; and develop strong, beneficial partnerships with key suppliers. Remains connected with the Alliance Management group within AZ Clinical Operations.
CTCO Director, Outsourcing Management will be reporting to Study Management Head within Cell Therapy Clinical Operations. Outsourcing management Director is responsible for supporting and monitoring all aspect of vendors performance and oversight at a global, hub and/ or country level. Responsible for global, hub and country level sourcing strategy within CTCO, including execution of the sourcing model, alongside overseeing Work Orders (WOs) management, execution of the 3PRM process and partnering with key vendors at a global/ hub / country level and providing feedback to the Alliance Management team as required, relevant to the agreed KPIs with the vendors. Working with global/hub and country CTCO leadership, supports and develops processes and systems to optimize business partnering to include External partners, Procurement and Alliance Management. Supporting Country Footprint strategy globally and regionally – partnering with CROs to develop and execute on the operating model in respective CTCO markets.
