As the primary liaison between the brand and retail partners, this role defines the strategic vision and executes plans to achieve net and retail sales targets. The Director is accountable for building and executing omnichannel strategies, optimizing retail execution, and identifying white space opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** **Strategic Leadership:** + Lead and execute account strategies to grow market share and brand presence. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Education, Creative, Finance, Sales Ops) to align on brand and retailer strategies. + Translate global frameworks into locally relevant plans by channel. + Identify and activate white space opportunities by analyzing retailer dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer trends. + Drive an integrated omnichannel retail experience, ensuring consistency across in-store and online platforms. **Account Management & Retail Planning:** + Develop a full retail and eCommerce calendar tailored to account objectives. + Manage end-to-end retail deliverables: basics, launches, GWPs/promos, sets, holiday, non-saleable elements. + Maintain sales commentary and performance updates. + Strengthen retailer relationships to drive scale and collaboration. + Ensure strong brand presence across all platforms (store, local market, retailer.com). **Financial Accountability:** + Own monthly retail/net sales targets and oversee key P&L elements. + Partner with Planning on stock and sales plans, input for net/retail forecasts, and LE process. + Analyze internal and external trends to generate accurate category-level sales estimates. + Negotiate demo/freelance investments and monitor productivity and ROI. **Leadership & Communication:** + Partner with field and education teams to cascade goals and strategic updates. + Lead and align internal stakeholders around the account vision and execution plan. + Communicate performance, variances, and opportunities to senior leadership. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree required. + 10+ years of relevant experience in prestige beauty/fragrance, department stores, or retail business development. + Strong financial and analytical skills, including P&L management. + Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and drive business results. + Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Must be able to travel up to 30% domestically. **Leadership Competencies:** + Thinks strategically and leads with vision. + Embraces change and fosters innovation. + Develops talent, energizes teams, and builds collaborative relationships. + Executes with excellence and demonstrates learning agility. **Pay Range:** The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$120,550.00** to **$208,200.00** . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
