**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Directional Drill Operators** for projects located in and around **Canyon, TX** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of **up to $26/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Directional Drill Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Operate horizontal directional drills according to blueprints and job specifications + Use locating equipment to identify existing utilities + Operate Hydro Vac equipment, backhoes, trenchers, mini excavators, boom trucks, and more + Perform underground conduit installations and expose utilities using hand tools + Conduct routine maintenance on directional drilling equipment (e.g., vice jaw changes, sub saver installation) + Perform construction site cleanup and assist the crew with other duties + Haul equipment to and from job sites using a truck and trailer + Ensure accurate documentation for materials, equipment use, and time + Deliver materials and perform general labor as needed + Identify and report equipment deficiencies and ensure “one call” tickets are current + Train other team members when assigned **Requirements:** + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenance + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record + Experience with utility construction and underground locating equipment is preferred + Willingness to travel throughout Amarillo and nearby regions + Must adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and state regulations + Ability to work independently or as part of a crew **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
