We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Direct Mortgage Manager, reporting to Senior Mortgage District Lead.

Principal responsibilities

Plan and direct mortgage sales activities to grow the Bank's mortgage business and other WPB productsGenerate sales leads from estate agencies, solicitor firms and property developers for primary and secondary property marketsAssist District Lead to coach and guide team members to handle mortgage application documents and submit them for credit assessment based on the Bank's mortgage guidelines and policiesMonitor sales process to ensure sales activities are compliant with the Bank's policies proceduresParticipate in the selling and promoting of mortgage loans products, as well as cross-selling other financial products and services to our customers through the Bank's distribution channelsKeep abreast of latest development of the mortgage business and recommend corresponding business strategies as appropriateManage operational risk and observe the relevant policies/ guideline

Proven experience in mortgage lending business with good contacts at property developers, estate agencies / mortgage brokers and solicitors' firms or related retail banking experienceStrong service and sales orientation, with good communication and interpersonal skillsAble to demonstrate competency as sales leader with strong sales and service orientation, good interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to take challenges positively and willingness to work on weekends and public holidays, if requiredPasses in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations / HKSI Licensing Examinations preferredProficiency in both English and Chinese; knowledge of Putonghua an advantageHigh level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customersProfessional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
