THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of retail operations and consumer engagement initiatives across our own stores in the Netherlands, with a primary focus on Amsterdam and Utrecht. You will act as a key operational link between store teams, management, and central functions, translating engagement strategies into consistent in-store execution and measurable point-of-sale impact.
You will work hands-on with store managers and frontline supervisors to maintain high operational standards, support in-store activations, and continuously improve the consumer experience. This role requires a practical, solution-oriented mindset, strong coordination skills, and the flexibility to operate in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Overseeing and supporting daily retail operations and consumer engagement activities in own stores.Deploying and coordinating in-store engagement initiatives to ensure consistent and high-quality execution.Collaborating with marketing, CX, capability building, and operations teams to implement activations, messaging, and programs.Acting as a key support point for store managers and supervisors on operational topics, tools, and processes.Supporting reporting, administration, and follow-up on operational and engagement performance.Coordinating updates of store manuals, guidelines, and operational documentation.Supporting stores with system setup and troubleshooting (e.g. POS and related retail systems).Monitoring device and equipment replacement flows in coordination with relevant support functions.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
College/University education or equivalent level through relevant work experience.Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational role with a high level of coordination.Proven creative mindset and execution.Experience with logistics, administration, and vendor coordination is considered beneficial.Hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage day-to-day operational challenges.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Comfortable working with basic analytics, dashboards, and operational reporting.Flexibility to work during store opening hours, including evenings and weekends when required.Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
