Job Responsibilities

Complete operational procurement management with a focus on economically and efficiently handling procurement processes for defined product groups.Ensure the availability of materials by actively participating at the interface to scheduling, suppliers, and strategic purchasing.Build orders for direct material in accordance with established frameworks and agreements.Monitor and track orders for all materials within assigned material groups, addressing any blocking issues as necessary.Conduct invoice checking and processing, ensuring alignment with specifications and guidelines.Develop and maintain framework agreements and manage additions for new parts.Handle consignment, VOMI processing, and suggest article inclusions and contract changes.Manage initial sample processing from EPD, including orders, approvals, and special deliveries.Participate actively in supplier appointments and visits to ensure flawless operations.Control the EPD process, including supplier inquiries and goods management.Track missing parts and participate in relevant meetings to address shortages.Maintain vendor master data and update orders as needed in consultation with relevant departments.Collaborate on reporting and maintain standard pricing.Process and coordinate discontinued parts with suppliers and other departments.Serve as an interface to all departments, including production, quality control, development, and accounting.

Training and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing operations, business administration, operations management, purchasing, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.2-3 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field.High level of accuracyProficiency in MS Office and SAPProficiency in written and spoken English and German is required
