Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Global Account Management, who will focus on accelerating divisional net growth from assigned global customer accounts by maximizing business retention, driving new business wins, protecting and enhancing profit margins, increasing overall customer satisfaction, fostering innovation through targeted customer solutions, and ensuring operational alignment. This position serves as the primary contact for the customerregarding strategic and tactical matters,encompassingoperations and relationshipmanagement with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities


Establishes a wide-ranging network within the customer's organization and advocates for the value we have provided. Broadens customer relationships through building a common agenda via Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with a three (3) year+ horizon having clear vision, joint goals, set business priorities defined as part of a Global customer Account Development PlansCreates comprehensive end-to-end supply chain maps, value stream maps, and monitors wallet share.Identifies, assesses and supports the pursuit and closure of additional business development opportunities.Leads delivery of large, complex opportunities for assigned Global customer accounts, e.g. multi-regional opportunities.Manages RFQ opportunities for assigned Global customer accounts effectively.Increases profitability on assigned Global customer accounts, e.g. by upselling higher-margin products and solutions.Identifies and leads (as appropriate) Global and transformational projects for targeted Global customer accounts.Mobilize and support Executive Sponsor’s activities for the account to facilitate delivery of the Global customer Account Development Plans.Proactively plans for contract renewals and retention strategies, ensuring all documentation is managed and regular reviews are conducted.Ensures global consistency in commercials, operations, and systems across customer accounts.Develop and nurture relationships with key customer stakeholders, leveraging connections with the Executive SponsorSchedules and facilitates regular leadership meetings with customers (e.g., QBR/QBP) to drive collaborative success.Integrates the \"Voice of the Customer\" into the account strategy and review process, ensuring a clear Customer Centricity Agenda to sustain and enhance customer satisfaction.Drives innovation and best practices across global customer accounts, collaborating with Marketing to enhance visibility and reputation.Engages closely with regional and country account management stakeholders (Executive Sponsors, Operations, Business Development, etc.) to manage Global Customer Account Development Plans and drive active cross-regional account communities

Required Education and Experience

·Bachelor’s Degree, required, and Master’s Degree, preferred.

·Minimum of eight (8) years in the Logistics industry, required.

·Minimum of four (4) years in a senior leadership role of frontline Account Management and/or Business Development activities, preferred.

·Highly developed facilitation and influencing skills at all levels, required.

·Proven track record of managing large, complex projects, required.
