Purpose
Provide a structure and processes that enable efficient and effective project management, with a particular focus on data analysis and financial management.
Responsibilities
Capacity Planning Optimization:
• Evaluate and plan resources: Analyze available and necessary resources for future projects, optimizing their use to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop capacity strategies: Create plans and strategies to ensure that resources are aligned with project needs and organizational objectives.
2. Demand Management:
• Demand evaluation: Analyze and prioritize project requests based on criteria such as strategic impact, feasibility, and available resources.
• Demand forecasting: Use forecasting techniques to anticipate future demand for projects and resources.
3. Budget Planning and Execution:
• Budget development: Create detailed budgets for each project, ensuring that all costs are accounted for.
• Expense monitoring: Continuously track project expenses to ensure they remain within budget.
4. Impact Analysis:
• Evaluate project impacts: Conduct impact analyses to understand how projects will affect the organization, employees, and processes.
• Develop mitigation plans: Create strategies to mitigate negative impacts and maximize project benefits.
5. Project Financial Management:
• Budgeting and cost control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs remain within established limits.
• Financial analysis: Evaluate the financial viability of projects and ensure they align with the organization's financial objectives.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Data collection and analysis: Use data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and interpret relevant data for decision-making.
• Report generation: Create detailed and understandable reports for stakeholders, providing key information on project status and performance.
7. Continuous Improvement and Standardization:
• Implement best practices: Develop and standardize project management processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitoring and evaluation: Continuously monitor project and PMO performance, implementing improvements based on results.
8. Risk Management:
• Risk identification: Identify potential risks that may affect project execution.
• Mitigation plans: Develop mitigation plans to minimize the negative impacts of risks.
9. Communication and Coordination:
• Effective communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with project objectives.
• Team coordination: Work with different teams and departments to ensure effective project implementation
Education / experience
Academic Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related areas.
• Master’s degree in project management, Business Administration (MBA), or Finance.
Certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP): Globally recognized certification for project management.
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA): Certification in financial analysis.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM): Certification for Agile project management.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt: Certification in quality management and process improvement.
Courses and Continuing Education:
• Data Analysis Courses: Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Financial Management Courses: Budgeting, financial analysis.
• Risk Management Courses: Risk identification and mitigation.
• Communication Courses: Effective presentation, business communication.
• Project Management Tools Courses: Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello.
• FinOps Courses: Cloud financial management, cloud cost optimization
Minimum experience of 5-10 years managing projects and finances.
