The Director of HRIS and Data is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), as well as overseeing workforce data analytics. This role plays a critical part in optimizing HR processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing insights that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR technology, data governance, and analytics to drive efficiency and strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities: 

HRIS Management:Lead the implementation and optimization of HR systems, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise platforms.Lead system updates, upgrades, and enhancements to improve HR service delivery.Ensure system security, compliance, and data accuracy, aligning with industry regulations.Provide technical leadership and training to HR staff and other stakeholders.Data Governance & Analytics:Develop and implement robust data governance policies to ensure accuracy, compliance, and security.Utilize predictive analytics to support workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.Partner with HR leaders to develop dashboards, reports, and predictive analytics models.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.Automation & Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities for automation in HR workflows, improving efficiency and employee experience.Leverage AI-driven tools for reporting, recruitment, and performance management insights.Drive process re-engineering to optimize HRIS functionalities and reduce manual workloads.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with IT, Finance, Payroll, and other departments to ensure data consistency and system integration.Act as a liaison between HR and external vendors, managing relationships and contracts.Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for HR and executive leadership.Strategic Leadership & Innovation:Drive continuous improvements in HRIS functionality and data analytics capabilities.Stay ahead of HR & industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for enhanced analytics and system improvements.Identify opportunities to automate processes using RPA and enhance HR service delivery.Implement industry best practices in HR compliance, reporting, and workforce analytics.Lead change management efforts to drive the adoption of new technologies and data-driven HR strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of experience in HRIS management, HR technology, or workforce analytics.Proven expertise in HR systems such as Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle, or SuccessFactors.Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).Experience in AI and automation within HR processes.Deep understanding of HR compliance, privacy regulations, and security protocols.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
