Location: Remote Department: EPIC Core Clinical Systems Senior Information Technology Services Specialist Join our dynamic Information Technology Services team, where you'll play a critical role in securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle. We're looking for a senior-level professional who brings deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for mentoring others. Key Responsibilities System Lifecycle Management: Maintain full awareness of all information systems within your scope, including the sensitive data they store, transmit, or process. Security Enforcement: Apply and uphold the principles of least privilege and least functionality to ensure robust system security. Incident Awareness & Response: Identify potential information security incidents and understand your role in incident response activities. System Design & Architecture: Design information systems that meet user needs while aligning with the organization's overall IT architecture. Project Leadership: Lead complex, high-impact projects with a focus on designing highly optimized systems and processes. Mentorship: Coach, train, and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Serves as a technical leader and role model within the team. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree , preferred. Experience: Minimum three years relevant information experience, required. Licensure/Certification: Obtain application system cert. Pass all cert. passing grade within three tries for each test or project, required. EPIC Beacon and/or EPIC Research certification strongly preferred. Additional Skills Required: Proficient with workflows, application product function, design and build expertise. Strong analytical skills for new functions, problem resolution and support of the application product. Proficient in ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed. For NMG DPS Billing Supp-NonTech: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; understands and can apply knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, patient attribution, HEDIS and other quality details, and federal and state regulatory requirements; ability to analyze and resolve issues at a detailed level, researching requests for reports, data reconciliation, data distribution and user support. Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to plan and organize work. Ability to travel to other Novant Health facilities on occasion. Job Opening ID 107129
