Overview Dimensional Technician LOCATION: NSWC Corona, CA (Norco, Ca) JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: secret eligibility CERTIFICATION: none TRAVEL: none Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Dimensional Technician located at the NSWC Corona in Corona, CA. Astrion has worked extensively with the NSWC Corona Cal Lab where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients. Our combined team provides the necessary services in the inspection, certification and calibration of Navy METCAL Programs, Navy Special Interface Gages, Marine Corps Infantry Weapons Gage Certification Program, U.S. Army Gage Program, U.S. Navy and Coast Guard Small Arms Program and NAVAIR Gun Gage Program. Our tasking also consists of quality assessment support, technical writing, and technical assistance with engineering projects and programs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Minimum High School Diploma MUST be a U.S. Citizen, able to acquire and maintain any security clearance. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office. Must have great interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail is a must, able to follow and adhere to strict Quality Assurance and all other related policies. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy when following Quality Assurance procedure and other procedures as necessary. Ability to make judgments and decisions within the framework of oral and written instructions. Ability to Prioritize and multi-task. Have a solid knowledge of computers with the ability to input data and generate administrative paperwork correctly. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Machining and Machine shop experience or background Manufacturing, Production, and/or Manufacturing Engineering background Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning Program (NAVY ERP) RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate ability and have the attention to detail and follow all procedures and administrative direction in all daily duties. Demonstrate the ability to generate correct and complete administrative, metrological paperwork following established procedures using the proper tools provided. Demonstrate the ability to understand and perform inspection, calibration or certification techniques needed for the calibration of standards, gages, fixtures, and test, measurement & diagnostic equipment. All actions are subject to regular reviews/audits by Quality Assurance personnel to ensure strict adherence to established procedures and/or processes. Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment.
