Job Description
As a Dimensional Auditor, you will play a crucial role in inspecting, measuring, and auditing the dimensions of various parts and materials to ensure compliance. You will utilize inspection tools such as pin gauges, ball gauges, calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches daily. Your keen attention to detail and basic math skills will aid in assessing whether parts meet the required standards, ensuring safety and functionality.
ResponsibilitiesAudit and monitor quality requirements according to company policies.Execute QA inspection processes and follow inspection standards.Initiate non-conformance reports and document inspection findings.Perform visual inspections of raw materials and components.Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.Conduct coil inspections.Essential SkillsProficiency in using check fixtures, calipers, and torque wrenches.Knowledge of gauge calibration, height gauge measurements, and radius measurements.Understanding of unilateral and bilateral tolerance.Ability to measure slots and record data on sample data sheets.Experience with dimensional inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a fast-paced environment.Capability to stand for 10+ hours and lift 30+ lbs repeatedly.Experience in a production facility or warehouse.Proficiency in blueprint reading and using CAD software.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment, standing on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts. Collaborate with a team while having the independence to work at your own station. Professionalism is essential as you will be working in the management manufacturing office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.80/hr.
