Dim Sum 1/2 - Chinese Kitchen
**Description:** · Supervise the dim sum section's operations and control quality to ensure food meets hotel standards. · Provide guidance and assistance to subordinates while monitoring the food preparation process and quality. · Maintain cleanliness in the work area, ensuring proper food storage, handling methods, and cleanliness of utensils · Assist the Executive Chinese Chef in designing dim sum offerings. · Manage daily ordering quantities and production for the dim sum section to ensure sufficient food supply. · Assist in the preparation of dim sum dishes, including portion arrangements, material handling procedures, and cleaning preparation tools. · Collaborate closely with the Chinese kitchen department to ensure smooth operations. · Adhere to the hotel's health and safety guidelines. · Perform any duties assigned by the Management Team deemed necessary. **Qualifications:** + Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety management systems (HACCP). + Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. + Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on culinary excellence + Able to work independently + Familiarity with kitchen operations + Able to work under pressure, in a dynamic and fast paced environment. + Minimum 1 - 5 years of experience in hotel industry with similar positions. **Primary Location:** CN-91-Hong Kong **Organization:** Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Food and Beverage **Req ID:** HON006394 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
