Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products is looking for a Digital Transformation Expert to join the North American Team. This individual will be responsible for developing & managing tools to improve the efficiency of our Supply Chain and Manufacturing in all 11 North American manufacturing facilities. You will develop reporting dashboards and analyze information to aid Buyers, Planners, Inventory Teams, Managers, and Plants. You will be a liaison between Plants, Global Procurement, & Product Management. The primary goal of this role is to provide information and analysis that makes everyone better and more efficient. This role will report to the Head of Materials & Inventory. This is a new position being established to support our business so you will have the opportunity to help shape the role.
You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
Responsible for the assessment, readiness evaluation, strategic transformation plan design, and tactical execution and implementation of the organization's digital technologies to improve employee and customer experiences, operational efficiency and productivity. Advise on information technology and digital transformation projects based on a solid understanding of business needs. Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption and usage and minimize resistance. Navigates through critical changes and addresses complex issues. Responsibility resides across 11 North American SI EP locations. US (7), MX (3), CA (1) Responsible for managing analytics and reporting for SI EP NA Materials & Inventory. Responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing activities for complex commodities. Responsible for identifying and driving improvements based on analysis Responsible for working with the Plants, Material Coordinators, Procurement, and Product Management. Responsible for developing and managing tools for reporting to multiple levels in the Business Unit. Responsible for developing and managing tools that contain user actionable data. Responsible for simplifying and standardizing processes and reporting across all plants. Responsible to become a direct resource for the Plants. Responsible for recommending technology to help manage the process. Responsible to cultivate positive relationships with all Teams and our Partners. Responsible for creating and tracking metrics.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years' experience in developing and managing digitalization tools for supply chain management. Strong digital/computer skills. Strong desire to utilize digital tools and lead this cultural transformation. Strong communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical individuals. Ability to work effectively on a Team. Ability to work cross functionally. Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment. Ability to teach/train others on the Team. 5-10% Travel Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology degree preferred. Strong independent work ethic. Able to go find answers. Experience using Knime, Tableau and Snowflake preferred. Experience in SAP preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong cognitive skills include problem analysis, decision making, and quantitative analysis. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in Materials/Inventory preferred. Knowledge and experience in Siemens preferred.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $115,680. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
