Job DescriptionOBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative training programs that support Takeda’s business priorities, such as for example implementation of ERP systems and other digital tools. This role will be driving training activities such as developing comprehensive training materials, conduct training sessions, and facilitating multi-time zone working sessions.This role is crucial for ensuring smooth onboarding of new sites and maintaining system readiness. Duties will include overseeing the application of training best practices to the assigned projects across the full training lifecycle, including for example, needs analysis, training materials design, development, delivery, evaluation feedback and continuous improvementThis role will leverage modern instructional design methodologies and digital platforms to ensure impactful learning experiences across the global organization.The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with strategic goals and compliance standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. Training Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training curricula to support software usage and system processes or implementation of other digital tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.Digital Training Implementation: Lead the execution of training programs using digital platforms, incorporating multimedia-rich content and interactive methodologies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with DD&T, HR, and business teams to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.Training Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs and feedback, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance learning outcomes.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all training materials meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks, partnering with Subject Matter Experts to address compliance-related training needs.Global Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions across multiple time zones, providing support and guidance to local trainers and ensuring consistent delivery quality.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Training, IS, HR with an L&D Specialization) is required.Advanced English proficiencyExperience
Minimum 6 years of experience in training, preferably within digital or technology-driven functions.Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs across multiple platforms and formats.Expertise in training development for digital products, systems, and/or applications.Hands-on experience with systems like GLIMS, Labware, or Moda is highly preferred.Extensive experience in facilitating training for global audiences, considering cultural differences and multi-time zone environments.Technical Skills
Proficient in using learning management systems and tools to develop and track training initiatives.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new project systems, tools, and applications.Competence in developing engaging training materials (text and design) using modern design applications.Behavioural Competencies
