Job DescriptionAECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technology Specialist to join our team of construction professionals in Dallas, TX. This project is estimated to commence in the fall of 2025.
Work collaboratively within our core Digital Technology team South region to strategize, implement, and leverage technologies as well other related leading-edge methodologies to secure the advancement and continuous innovation of our digital project delivery.Generate 3D site logistic renderings and 4D animation utilizing digital applications including Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, Synchro, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Google Earth integrations.BIM Coordination experience with Revizto, Navisworks and Bluebeam.Check-ins with PMs and Superintendents during coordination and keep subcontractors accountable during the building process.Develop project specific deliverables to the field team. I.E. Shop Drawings, ceiling coordination, slab penetrations, lift drawings, etc.Participate in workshop-type meetings in developing RFP and responses.Generate initiatives in leveraging BIM/VDC technologies to elevate project coordination and delivery.Generate digital technology visualization training programs including AR, VR, MR, and reality capture, and how to leverage the same on and off project sites.Set up 3D model-based projects for effective communication and coordination during project start-up while collaborating with the project team to ensure the project is optimized by including new technological advancements.Support other digital technologies as required by the project; generate BIM 4D sequencing, 3D visualization, synthesize 360 reality capture and laser scanning; assist in data extraction from drone technologies and translate digital data into relevant and useful information.Provide leadership and coaching to junior Digital Technology team members to guide their development of critical industry knowledge and technology advancement. This mentoring will aid in their growth and prepare them to be self-sustaining on future projects.Participate in and manage the development of presentations, including the creation of animations and images for proposals and marketing materials.Client-focused and keen on AEC/O industry’s technological advancement including BIM & VDC, Visualization & Reality Capture (Digital Spatial Intelligence), Digital Delivery, Data Insight & AI; AECOM Hunt’s Digital Technology team.Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Ability to train your project and field teams on VDC Technology and shows clear case studies of VDC adoption.Assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.).Demonstrates clear drive, communication skills, outgoingness and positivity, and desire to serve – be all things to everyone.Demonstrates excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship building with PMs, Superintendents and Subcontractors. Be the Technology Representative on site from jobsite Wi-Fi to BIM coordination and document management.Develop a comprehensive knowledge of contract documents, both 2D and the related 3D deliverables.Establish BIM standards for quality and monitoring adherence through expertise and direction provided on job sites, at BIM coordination meetings, etc.About Construction Management – AECOM Hunt

QualificationsMinimum Requirement:
BA/BS and 6 years of relevant AEC industry visualization technology experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Requirements:
Competency with laser scanning and registering.Construction Document Management Skills to support and provide document management on the Project Management cloud platform.Construction Management experience on-site and demonstrate initiative with bringing VDC solutions to the field.Strong verbal and graphic communication skillsStrong organizational skills; possess the ability to be agile in leading multiple projectsBasic understanding of BIM and VDC software and platform including Autodesk Construction Cloud and ProcoreSelf-motivated and can work independently or within a teamAbility to accurately interpret prints/drawings.Possess technical knowledge of commercial building design and documentationStrong skills communication skills for the purpose effectively communicating and solve issues on the fly with Project Managers, superintendents, and subcontractorsUnderstands data visualization utilizing Power BI, etc.; can easily deep dive and understand applications and platforms APIs to extract and sanitize data in a visualization dashboard format.Strong experience with Mission Critical work.Have deliverables examples available for interview.Additional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position is not hybrid nor remote.This position may include relocation.About AECOM
