Job Summary:
The Digital Specialist works with the Digital Operations Manager to drive revenue for Wholesure by bringing on new carriers and maximizing existing carriers.. You will contribute to the company’s growth in meaningful ways by ensuring that our digital marketplace connects with our retail agents.
Responsibilities:
● Prospects for new digital carriers and understands the parameters for digital requirements and which vertical the carrier would align with.
● Meets regularly with existing carrier partners to discuss production numbers, issues and appetite changes.
● Effectively communicates any enhancements or changes to the existing carriers with all relevant internal stakeholders.
● Collaborates with various departments during carrier onboarding. Ensure that the new digital carrier aligns with company standards and is setup within according to established guidelines within our systems.
● Ability to articulate value proposition and connect carriers to Wholesure offerings.
● Ensure seamless service delivery by coordinating between internal IT and carrier technical support to address customer issues and provide efficient solutions of technical issues.
● Functions as a proactive problem solver, promptly addressing and resolving issues.
● Loads and edits carriers into third party service that feeds the digital marketplace. Includes updating carrier appetite on a regular basis and troubleshooting any tech issues with the third-party vendor. All changes must be communicated to Marketing to ensure agent portal is also updated.
● Ensures that new carriers are set up in IMS accurately and communicates completion with the respective department.
● Responsible for monitoring and tracking carrier and tech partner results and reporting to leadership team as required.
● Assists in educational initiatives for sales and internal teams related to digital carriers.
● Collaborate with the Marketing department to promote key partners and develop promotional campaigns to drive business.
● Serves as liaison between internal stakeholders and carrier partners around various issues such as commission reports and missing policy documents.
● Serves as a point of contact for business written through the digital marketplace.
● Contributes to quarterly meeting updates.
● Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate frequently, candidly, and clearly. Ability to listen and adapt approach.
● Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, carrier requests and service issues from the business.
● Strong presentation skills and the ability to build rapport and credibility.
Education/Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Insurance and Risk Management or a similar field or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
● Insurance experience preferred
● Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
