Team Overview and Job responsibilities
The optimal candidate will live and operate from one of the Western states (West Region). This position must be located within X distance to a major airport. Job responsibilities will include managing the agent network along with direct regional sales managers within the West Region.
Develop a highly effective distributor system/ dealer network/ customer base for the assigned channel.Formulate sales strategy for assigned territory or products, develop sales forecast, budget and manpower planning; supervises and trains distributors/ dealers/agents and/or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue key prospects, negotiate and construct appropriate terms of sales.Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with the assigned channel.Responsible for the commercialization of the company’s products to the assigned channel, defining market policies and strategies to achieve established objectives in terms of volumes and product mix.Provide ongoing support to clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service.Support customers providing product knowledge and develop knowledge of client's business.Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments.Proficiency in understanding structured cabling systems, POE, and Fiber Optics technology.Informs clients of new products and services as they are introduced. Recommend products and services that fit well with client’s business needs.Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or four-year equivalent degree.Master’s degree preferred.7-10 years of experience with outside sales roles.5-7 years of experience with cable manufacturing preferred.Lead a team of manufactures representatives' to meet or exceed KPIs consistently.Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.Extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk or workstation.Repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry, which may require dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.Employee will regularly be required to lift and carry objects of 5-10 pounds as needed.Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 15-25 pounds as needed.Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except excessive eye strain.When travel is necessary, will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings.Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
