Job Summary As a DPS Solutions Architect II, you will play a strategic role in shaping and executing digital strategies that deliver measurable business value. You’ll be a trusted partner to corporate and clinical stakeholders, helping to align technology capabilities with organizational goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a matrixed environment, understands the full lifecycle of information systems, and is passionate about secure, value-driven digital transformation. Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday - Friday (On call support required, as needed). Location: Remote Department: ETS – Data Services Key Responsibilities Information System Stewardship: Manage systems securely throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with data governance and security principles. Security & Risk Awareness: Understand and enforce least privilege and least functionality principles. Recognize and respond to potential security incidents. Strategic Technology Planning: Collaborate with business partners to surface and shape demand for digital capabilities. Develop strategies that align with value streams and enterprise architecture. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a single point of contact for technology strategy within assigned domains. Build strong relationships across corporate and clinical teams. Enterprise Architecture Participation: Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice and report to the Enterprise Architecture Council. Ideal candidate: Proficient knowledge of Object Oriented Programming architecture Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Azure (App Service, Storage, Data, Network) architecture Proficient knowledge of mobile Platforms (iOS, Android) architecture Intermediate knowledge of Azure Pipelines (DevOps) architecture Proficient knowledge of modern data interoperability architecture Proficient knowledge of Event Driven architecture Proficient knowledge of data pipeline architecture Proficient knowledge of Serverless Code Architectures (Tanzu, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.JS) Proficient knowledge of Microservice Architecture Proficient knowledge of API framework architecture Qualifications Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Experience: 10+ Years experince and 3 years in architecture roles, preferred. Licensure/Certification: TOGAF-9, CITA-F, ITIL-F, COBIT-5, CISSP-ISSAP, or equivalent, preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Advanced skill to engage and quickly build understanding of the business context in which they are operating. Intermediate knowledge of technologies (past, current, emerging) that support business capabilities within scope of engagement and partnership. Advanced knowledge of information technology design principles and practices. Intermediate knowledge of information technology frameworks (ISO, COBIT, ITIL, etc.). Advanced diagramming skills (process, component, entity, logical, physical). Intermediate requirements definition and evaluation. Advanced writing, speaking, and presenting skills. Intermediate problem-solving skills. Advanced communication skills, with emphasis on translating technical topics in business terms. Ability to positively influence others and to break down organizational barriers. Ability to facilitate collaboration and negotiation. Ability to think strategically. Leadership skills.
