Job Overview:
Troon seeks an experienced Digital Solutions Account Executive to drive adoption of our SaaS platform across both Troon-managed and independent golf courses. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing new business, and strengthening our market presence through consultative, value-driven selling. The ideal candidate combines a technical aptitude for cloud-based solutions with a proven record in account management, sales, and client engagement within the hospitality, sports, or technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Troon’s digital offerings through effective prospecting and lead generation. Qualify leads, analyze client needs, and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and value potential. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers (Owners, General Managers, Directors of Operations, IT leaders). Collaborate with internal teams; Business Development, IT, Product, Implementation, Customer Success, Operations, and Legal to optimize deal throughput and client experience. Conduct consultative needs analysis and collaboratively develop tailored SaaS solutions to address client requirements. Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to showcase Troon’s digital platform and articulate business impact. Negotiate terms, manage proposal development, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Own end-to-end sales program management for assigned accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding and implementation of digital solutions. Provide training and ongoing support during onboarding, serving as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption and client satisfaction. Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities, track opportunities, and document customer interactions throughout the sales cycle. Provide senior management with regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market insights. Offer feedback on customer requirements and market trends to inform product innovation and continuous improvement. Support business leaders with special projects and initiatives tied to market expansion. Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and technology developments relevant to golf and hospitality.

Skills:

Ability to prepare and present technical and business information to audiences at all organizational levels. Communicates clearly and concisely, tailoring messaging to varied audiences. Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize market data and understand customer business drivers. Strong planning and organizational skills; able to break down tasks, manage priorities, and assign clear goals to ensure results. Demonstrates resilience, agility, and a passion for digital innovation.

Desired Background:

7+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account management, or business development, ideally in hospitality, sports, or related technology sectors. Proven record of closing significant transactions and exceeding sales targets. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels. Familiarity with SaaS sales strategies, GTM processes, and CRM/reporting tools (Dynamics 365 CE preferred). Strong organizational and program management abilities. Attention to detail and ability to align projects with company sales guidelines. Self-starter, collaborative, and highly execution-focused. Analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proven ability to sell technology-oriented products or platforms.
