**Your role and responsibilities**
* Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives in the storage domain
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, and build relationships with clients and partners
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive sales growth
* Provide expertise and guidance to clients on storage solutions, including software-defined storage, data protection, and storage management
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs in the storage domain
**Required technical and professional expertise**
The Digital Sales Specialist (Storage) role requires a combination of sales, technical, and business skills to drive sales growth and revenue attainment in the storage domain.Sales Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in the storage industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of storage technologies, including software-defined storage, data protection, and storage management
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
* Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the storage industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
* Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Sales Specialist - Storage, may be required or preferred
Education
* Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, or Marketing
Additional Requirements
* Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on the location and requirements of the role
* Language Skills: Fluency in English, with additional language skills a plus
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce and other sales productivity tools
