**Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled MIS Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team within the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining robust management information systems (MIS) to provide key insights into our business performance. This role requires a blend of strong technical acumen, analytical prowess, and excellent communication skills to support strategic decision-making across various departments.
**Core Responsibilities**
+ **Reporting System Development & Maintenance** : Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
+ **Data Rationalization & Automation** : Lead initiatives to rationalize, enhance, transform, and automate existing reports, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability to meet evolving business needs.
+ **Advanced Data Analysis** : Conduct in-depth ad-hoc analysis and root cause analysis to identify underlying drivers of performance, address specific reporting challenges, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
+ **Performance Interpretation & Insights** : Interpret complex data sets to identify significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating these into clear, concise, and impactful insights that support informed decision-making for business partners and senior leadership.
+ **Customer Behavioral Insights** : Leverage data to derive customer behavioral insights, informing and driving effective targeting, segmentation, and engagement strategies across digital channels.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management** : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both local and international (e.g., India-based teams), to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of reports and analytical solutions. Manage end-to-end project communication with business partners.
+ **Project Leadership & Mentorship** : Lead analytical projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Mentor junior analysts, fostering skill development and contributing to overall team capability.
+ **Data Governance & Compliance** : Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by adhering to established data governance frameworks, standard control procedures, and Citi’s stringent Risk and Control guidelines.
**Experience and Skills Required**
**Experience**
+ Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or MIS reporting, preferably within the financial services or banking industry.
+ Proven experience working with Big Data ecosystems, including technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark (with strong proficiency in Python).
+ Experience with cloud-based data management platforms and services.
+ Demonstrated expertise in leveraging digital channels, marketing strategies, and tools for audience engagement.
+ Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for tracking website traffic, funnel performance, and customer journey analysis.
+ Prior experience in leading projects and mentoring analytical teams.
**Technical Skills**
+ Database & Querying: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from large relational databases.
+ Programming: Strong programming skills in SAS & Python (PySpark, Pandas) for data processing, statistical analysis, and automation.
+ Data Visualization: Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, QlikView, or similar software, capable of creating interactive dashboards and reports.
+ Big Data Technologies: Practical knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
**Analytical & Soft Skills**
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information and data insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
+ Proven ability to create compelling presentations and effectively present findings, recommendations, and reports.
+ Self-motivated with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Contribution to organizational initiatives including competency development, training, and team-building activities.
**Educational Qualification**
+ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
