The Opportunity
The Digital Product Owner, IT Manager, is a dynamic role that enables operational excellence in P&G’s manufacturing processes and drives various site-level digital projects. This role will be the site owner of one of P&G’s key manufacturing execution systems that is used to analyze production process reliability and find opportunities to increase quality, decrease downtime and optimize production.
The candidate for this role will be able to excel in daily interaction across job functions and levels within the Plant community and the broader P&G organization. The candidate will gain a deep understanding of the Manufacturing Execution System including master data. In addition to growing their own knowledge, this role is also responsible for digitally upskilling the Plant Community on the Manufacturing Execution System, being a champion of the system and its capabilities.
This role is based at P&G’s Andover Manufacturing Center.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain applications for our Manufacturing Execution SystemFirst line of support at the site for the system and accountable for maintaining the system including addressing issues and implementing solutions.Work directly with Plant Operations to find opportunity areas to further leverage or refine the system Contribute to product roadmap creation and defining strategies for critical productsOversee proper system access privileges in accordance with appropriate with appropriate Security Controls Update and maintain master data and any site allowable configurations including investigating and addressing any data inconsistencies Own the system change management process and partner with plant operations to coordinate and implement changes Lead and/or contribute to digital projects that are components of the site Digital Master Plan
Job Qualifications
Required
BA/MA in relevant field (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)Leadership skills: Lead plant wide projects, programs in multi-functional teamsInterpersonal Skills: Develop trust to enable more strategic business transformation opportunities. The ability to be graceful under pressure, can empathize and emote with others.IT Operations: Solid understanding of ITIL (incident, change, problem management)Very strong written and oral communications skills
Preferred
Experience with using business data to answer business problems; some experience building/managing dashboards a plus Ability to apply critical thinking and a sense of urgency to solve problemsConduct risk and information security assessment and annual updates to the corporate IT architecture application database.
