Digital Product Manager

Position Summary

Hyatt is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead digital product initiatives for the China market across customer-facing touchpoints, business operations tools, data-enabled channel management, and AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
This role will translate complex commercial, loyalty, marketing, channel, and operational needs into scalable product solutions, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders, technology teams, data teams, and external vendors. The successful candidate will bring structured product thinking, strong ownership, and a practical AI-first mindset to identify, validate, and implement AI use cases that improve product discovery, data analysis, content operations, process automation, reporting, and business decision-making.

What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end digital product initiatives for China-market customer touchpoints and business operations tools, from business problem definition through launch and post-launch optimization.Translate business requirements into clear product deliverables, including user journeys, business rules, functional scope, acceptance criteria, project plans, and decision records.Identify, assess, and implement practical AI-enabled solutions for use cases such as data summarization, content generation, user feedback analysis, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and operational reporting.Optimize digital experiences related to membership, offers, booking or transaction journeys, content presentation, and customer engagement, balancing global standards with local market needs.Improve data, reporting, and monitoring capabilities that help business teams detect issues, understand performance, prioritize actions, and close operational gaps more efficiently.Partner with regional and global stakeholders across Product, Technology, Design, Commercial, Loyalty, Marketing, Content, Operations, Data, and Legal/Compliance to align scope, feasibility, launch plans, and governance requirements.Manage product backlogs, project timelines, UAT, launch readiness, issue resolution, and post-launch reviews to ensure products and tools deliver measurable business value.Coordinate with external vendors and platform partners, define deliverables, monitor quality, manage risks, and ensure timely follow-through on enhancements or issue fixes.Use analytics, customer feedback, operational insights, and market understanding to generate product recommendations and continuous improvement opportunities.Apply appropriate governance for digital and AI-enabled work, including privacy, security, accuracy checks, brand consistency, compliance, and required human review.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, digital product, e-commerce, platform products, SaaS, business digitization, or related fields; 5 years preferred for Product Manager level.Experience with at least two of the following areas: digital customer experience, transaction or booking journeys, membership/loyalty, marketing campaigns, coupons/offers, content management, channel operations, data/reporting tools, or internal productivity tools.Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in practical business workflows and to convert AI capabilities into repeatable use cases, workflows, or product improvements.Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including business, technology, design, operations, marketing, data, legal/compliance, and vendor teams.Strong data-driven product management capability, including the ability to use business metrics, user feedback, and operational signals to identify problems and drive prioritization.Ability to produce clear, executive-ready product documentation, including product briefs, user journeys, business rule definitions, acceptance criteria, project plans, issue logs, and post-launch reviews.Strong ownership, structured thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to drive issues to closure in a matrix organization with evolving requirements and multiple dependencies.Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both regional and global teams.

Hands-on experience using generative AI and AI-enabled productivity tools for research, summarization, drafting, analysis, workflow support, and knowledge retrieval.Ability to identify where AI can create measurable value, and where human review, traditional processes, or stronger controls are required.Working knowledge of prompt design, structured inputs, output validation, and feedback loops to improve the quality and reliability of AI-supported work.Ability to turn AI experimentation into repeatable team workflows rather than one-off personal productivity hacks.Sound judgment around data privacy, information security, accuracy, brand governance, and compliance considerations in AI-enabled work.Interest in AI agents, automation workflows, knowledge bases, intelligent reporting, customer feedback analysis, content operations, and business process improvement.

Experience in hospitality, travel, OTA, retail, local services, digital marketing, CRM, loyalty, or international/regional product environments.Experience with China digital ecosystems, mobile app or web products, membership systems, coupons/offers, booking flows, transaction journeys, or content management platforms.Experience with product and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or equivalent tools.Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, advanced Excel, or equivalent tools.Experience with CMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, automation tools, internal business applications, or vendor-managed digital solutions.Preferred certifications or training in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Project Management, Data Analytics, AI/Generative AI, Automation, Digital Marketing, hospitality, e-commerce, CRM, or analytics.
