Digital Product Manager, Salesforce CRM
Description Our client is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the delivery, integration, and enablement of a Salesforce-based CRM application. This is a project-based, execution-focused role, ideal for a Product Manager who has grown from a strong Business Analyst background and has a proven track record delivering complex technology initiatives in close partnership with Marketing, Technology, and external vendors. The role is an individual contributor position with no people management responsibilities. Role Responsibilities: Project & Product Leadership - Own the end-to-end CRM implementation, from planning and requirements gathering through delivery, testing, and rollout - Drive fast, focused execution within a defined 6-month delivery window - Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing marketing and business operations Stakeholder Partnership - Act as the primary Product partner to Marketing - Collaborate closely with stakeholders across: Marketing, Product, Technology / Engineering, Salesforce vendors - Serve as the connective tissue between business needs and technical delivery Requirements Definition & Solution Design - Conduct detailed analysis of current-state customer data and CRM use cases - Define clear requirements related to: Customer data models Segmentation (prospect vs. existing customers) CRM-enabled marketing use cases - Partner with Technology and vendors to design and configure Salesforce solutions - Ensure clean integration with existing internal systems and databases Testing, Validation & Risk Management - Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, data integrity, and end-to-end flows - Proactively identify risks and dependencies across systems and stakeholders - Support demos and walkthroughs of CRM capabilities alongside the Technology team Communication & Documentation - Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders at all levels - Articulate requirements, trade-offs, and value in a way that bridges technical and business audiences While CRM implementation will the be primary focus for the individual/role, it will likely not drive 100% capacity. Based on CRM project needs, PM will have opportunity to work on additional deliverables/focus areas when capacity cycles allow, including, but not limited to: (1) Performance Reporting, Analysis & Insights; (2) Competitive Market Scans; (3) User Journey Mapping. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Strong collaboration across Product, Technology, Marketing, and Vendors - Comfortable working with databases, customer data, and system integrations - Experience migrating systems or data between platforms - background in Insurance, Financial Services, or regulated environments - Experience supporting marketing technology or customer data platforms - Familiarity with customer segmentation, lifecycle journeys, or personalization use cases Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.
