Summary\n

RPI, a global leader in print-on-demand, is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Canon iX 3200 inkjet and HP Series 3 presses to produce high-quality, high-output books and card products. This full-time role also includes general bindery duties as needed and requires flexibility in work hours, including overtime and weekend shifts during peak seasons.\n

Responsibilities\n\nSet up and operate Canon iX 3200 and HP Series 3 digital presses.\nOperate casing-in devices and other finishing equipment as assigned.\nEnsure orders are produced accurately and within established production timelines.\nMaintain high output without compromising product quality.\nPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs with a strong mechanical aptitude.\nKeep machines and work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.\nFollow daily production plans provided by supervisors.\nAssist in training new or less experienced operators.\nTake on additional equipment responsibilities as needed.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\n

Skills\n\nAbility to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing and print equipment.\nStrong attention to quality and detail.\nCapable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nBasic computer skills for machine interface and order tracking.\nGood listening and verbal communication skills.\nStrong physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination.\nTime management and ability to follow production schedules.\nAbility to read and interpret job instructions and specifications.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.\nMechanically inclined and eager to learn.\n\n

Experience\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExperience in print manufacturing operations is a plus.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\n
