Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
About this role:
The role is a part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. Within GSSO, the Global Marketing team designs digital and in-person marketing programs to help prospective customers understand how Gartner’s insights, advice, and tools can help them achieve the mission critical priorities that drive organizational performance. The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling experiences across the buyer journey.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Digital Acquisition team. The individual will support the team in delivering high-impact email communications to clients and prospects worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving engagement, registrations and business growth through data-driven, innovative email marketing strategies. Key responsibilities include list management, email development and deployment using Eloqua 10, metric pulls and performance analysis and testing new approaches to optimize email communications. You will have the opportunity to build advanced digital marketing skills, collaborate with global stakeholders and gain exposure to Gartner’s business operations.
What you will do:
Production:
Manage outbound communications to drive web traffic, boost engagement and drive registrations via email, including asset creation and campaign setup in Eloqua.
Set up segments using filter conditions in Eloqua and other marketing automation platforms.
Maintain the communications calendar for balanced outreach and timely delivery.
Collaborate with global stakeholders, including sales and product teams, to ensure optimal audience targeting and messaging.
Conduct QA/QC and support business process improvement initiatives.
Remain flexible to accommodate critical business needs.
Analysis:
Assist with email KPI analysis and performance benchmarking.
Identify and execute A/B tests to refine email best practices.
Create dashboards and presentations using tools such as Excel, Tableau or Google Analytics.
Run rendering tests on Email on Acid and generate click maps to mine actionable insights.
Recommend program optimizations based on analytical findings and industry best practices.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences
Proficient in Excel; experience with formulas, formatting and data visualization
Experience with Eloqua or similar marketing automation tools; HTML skills are a plus
Experience using Motiva AI or other AI-driven marketing tools is highly valued
Experience working with global stakeholders
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with a client service mindset
