We are currently seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Lead to own and drive the digital performance of our U.S. marketing efforts. This is a strategic and executional role that sits at the core of our demand generation and growth goals.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading and executing digital marketing initiatives that drive traffic, conversions, and ROI. This role will work closely with regional and global marketing teams, as well as external partners (specialist freelancers and agencies), to continuously optimize Berlitz USA’s digital presence - especially through website performance, SEO, and paid media.
This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role that requires someone who is technically skilled in a major marketing area (website performance and/or paid digital marketing) and thrives in both strategy and execution.
Ideally we are seeking an emerging marketing superstar. someone who has been, or is coming from one of the above areas and is looking to now step into a broader marketing leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Optimization Own the U.S. Berlitz website experience: performance, structure, UX, content updates, and CRO Collaborate with global web and tech teams to implement enhancements and ensure localization for U.S. audiences Monitor and improve website KPIs including bounce rate, time on site, and conversion rates Performance Marketing & Paid Media Manage and execute paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) directly or via expert freelancers/agencies Optimize campaigns for lead generation and ROI; oversee A/B testing and attribution reporting Develop landing pages and optimize funnels to improve user journey and conversion SEO & Content Strategy Drive on-page and off-page SEO improvements to increase organic visibility Collaborate with content teams to ensure search-optimized content creation aligned with user intent Analytics & Reporting Monitor and analyze campaign and site performance using GA4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and CRM reports Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Collaboration & Leadership Work cross-functionally with global marketing, content, sales, and IT Manage external vendors and freelancers as needed Stay current on digital trends, competitor activity, and best practicesQualifications
3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, someone who is currently in a role that is either: Website management/optimization (CMS, UX, CRO, SEO), or Paid media campaign management (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and other tracking/analytics platforms Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal) Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus Excellent analytical skills; data-driven decision-making mindset Strong communication and project management skills Experience in a multi-stakeholder or international marketing environment is a plusWhat We Offer
