As **Digital Head, North America GenMed** within our **Digital team** , you will join the digital engine driving Sanofi's transformation, where AI, automation, and bold experimentation power faster science and smarter decisions. Sanofi's Business Horizon 2030 aims to deliver best-in-class and first-in-class science faster to patients. To ensure the success of Sanofi's Global Business Units (GBUs) strategy, this role has been created given the importance of the US GenMed BU, representing one of the largest Sanofi business units in terms of BOI contribution and cash generation to fund Sanofi's R&D pipeline.
This position is pivotal to Sanofi's success, encompassing support to Type 1 Diabetes & Cardiometabolic, Transplant, and Insulins & Established Product therapeutic areas while delivering on their critical business objectives: unlocking the potential of Tzield through Early Stage 3 and PETITE launches, leading the Transplant market by driving Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) recovery and organ optimization with Thymo while maximizing Rezurock impact, and driving Insulins volume opportunity while maximizing portfolio BOI with an AI-led strategy.
The Digital Head, North America GenMed is responsible for the overall digital strategy definition and delivery for Sanofi's GenMed US scope. They are particularly responsible for the proper and timely Digital support to successful GenMed pre-launch and launches. As the face of the Digital organization, they serve as the single point of entry to the Digital organization for all GenMed NALT members.
The mission of this role is to enable business growth and transformation through best-in-class leading digital innovation and strong operational excellence, enabling customers, patients, and strategic accounts across autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes, Transplant, Insulins and Established/Mature products to have meaningful and positive interaction with Sanofi medicines and services.
Working hand in hand with US GenMed teams, including the Head of North America GenMed and all other GenMed NA extended leadership members, the Digital Head will define Digital priorities, identify new digital opportunities that enable growth, develop business cases, and prioritize digital demands, ensuring consistency, scalability and value delivery across all initiatives. They will act as a change catalyst, strategic digital advisor, and thought leader for US GenMed leadership teams.
The incumbent will work closely with US GenMed teams, including all Franchises, Sales and Transformation Teams, GTMC teams, as well as with all teams across the Digital organization (Digital North America, global Product lines, Data & Digital Markets teams under Digital GBUs, Accelerator, Strategy & operations, Digital Tech, Architecture, Cybersecurity, etc.). Additionally, they will be a member of the NA GTMC leadership team, representing Digital NA and collaborating with the Head of NA GTMC, GTMC Business planning, and GTMC Pillar Heads on establishing effective ways of working to deliver a One Sanofi approach in terms of Digital capabilities.

**Main responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for US GenMed digital strategy, aligned with business priorities and the rapidly changing ecosystem.
+ Business Growth Focus: Ensuring digital strategies align with business growth objectives and customer/patient needs.
+ Unified Strategy: Creating a coherent digital strategy for US GenMed with measurable positive outcomes.
+ Executive communication: Producing executive reports on regular basis to update GenMed business leadership on established priorities and OKRs.

+ Global Alignment: Fostering adherence to global digital strategies, platforms, and infrastructure. Close collaboration with global GTMC and Digital counterparts for GenMed BU.
+ Agile Support: Providing timely Agile digital support for vaccine pre-launch and launch activities.
+ Tool Alignment: Ensuring tools are aligned to drive incremental customer value.
+ Best Practices: Driving the adoption of good practices to maximize digital asset value and minimize risks.
+ Digital Upskilling: Acting as a catalyst for digital upskilling with a focus on AI, Data and Digital transformation to drive operational efficiency and business model innovation.
+ Competitive Insights: Monitoring and integrating insights from the competitive landscape to shape strategy.
+ Budget Management: Preparing and tracking the annual budget for Digital US GenMed.
**About you:**
+ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience for the role
+ Bachelor’s degree on Scientific, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is required. And Master’s degree (MBA, MS) or Doctorate is a plus
+ Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or banking or media industry with strong understanding on digital transformations.
+ Demonstrated Experience in Senior Stakeholder management
+ Demonstrated Experience in Business Case & Value Realization Tracking
+ Proven experience of developing and delivering Digital business strategy is a plus
**Technical & Soft skills** :
+ Possesses a particularly strong business acumen, combined with strong understanding of digital.
+ Leader with outstanding communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to build trustful relationships
+ Demonstrating a positive result orientation, problem solving attitude & a “getting things done” mentality
+ Ability to clearly prioritize and explain prioritization according to facts and data
+ Diverse experience in different geographical and cultural settings is preferred
+ Successful management of large portfolio of digital and technology initiatives

The salary range for this position is:
$187.500,00 - $270.833,33
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
