Your MissionThis isn’t about replacing spreadsheets. It’s about building the next generation of FP&A: dynamic, automated, and embedded in the way the business thinks.
In this role, you will:
Pioneer automation and efficiency within the FP&A support functionCreate forward-looking tools that help our commercial finance and business partners answer the “why” behind the numbersHelp position this team as a testbed for innovation — shaping what’s possible and creating scalable solutions for the wider organisationWhat You’ll Work On (First 6–12 Months)Automate recurring reports using Power BI, Excel, and other analytics toolsSupport ad hoc analysis and visualisation of financial performance trendsBuild dashboards and models that help commercial teams understand and act on actualsCollaborate with finance business partners to turn complexity into clarityEnsure data consistency and integrity across systems and outputWhat You’ll LearnApply modern tooling: Power BI, Python, SQL, Excel VBA, and embedded AI tools (Copilot, GPT, agents)Build scenario tools that make forecasting faster and more intuitiveUnderstand P&L drivers and financial trade-offs in a real-world contextDevelop clear, compelling communication for senior stakeholdersSolve high-impact questions with structure, logic, and creativityWhat We’re Looking ForEducation
Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in STEM, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related fieldExperience
Side projects, internships, or part-time work involving data, problem-solving, or commercial thinking are a plus — but attitude and potential matter mostSkills and Traits
Curious and motivated by real-world impactComfortable with numbers, structure, and tools — and eager to learn moreClear communicator who can summarise complexity in simple termsOrganised, reliable, and driven by qualityExposure to tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel, or AI is helpful — but not requiredApplicants must have the right to work in the UK.
