We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Head of Product - Financial Services to join our EY Digital Factory in Luxembourg. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering digital products that transform financial services, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory frameworks, and technology capabilities.

The Head of Product - Financial Services will drive the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring that user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility are seamlessly integrated. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the financial services sector (e.g., wealth management, banking, insurance) and a proven track record in product development within fintech or technology-driven environments.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer value, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs for digital initiatives within the financial services domain. Translate business objectives and user needs into scalable, secure, and compliant digital products. Collaborate with the Technology Solution Lead to ensure architectural feasibility, technical alignment, and long-term sustainability of our products.

End-to-End Product Ownership

Lead the full product lifecycle: discovery, design, development, launch, and continuous improvement. Prioritize initiatives matching business vision using data-driven insights, stakeholder input, and regulatory requirements. Ensure product delivery meets quality, performance, and compliance standards (e.g., CSSF, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Act as the voice of the customer and business across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data, Compliance, Operations). Facilitate product governance through structured rituals (e.g., Product Committees, OKR reviews, Agile ceremonies). Align product decisions with enterprise architecture, risk, and financial governance frameworks.

Financial Services Expertise

Leverage deep domain knowledge in financial services to shape product strategy, user journeys, and regulatory alignment. Understand financial services, i.e. core banking, investment, or insurance processes and translate them into digital workflows and experiences. Ensure product compliance with financial regulations and internal risk frameworks.

Agile Product Delivery

Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management) to accelerate delivery and adaptability. Collaborate with Engineering Leads and DevOps to ensure CI/CD readiness, test automation, and release governance. Drive continuous feedback loops with users, stakeholders, and delivery teams to iterate and improve.

Data, AI & Automation Integration

Partner with Data Architects and AI teams to embed analytics, automation, and AI/ML capabilities into products. Define product-level data strategies, ensuring traceability, explainability, and ethical AI adoption. Enable data-driven decision-making through embedded dashboards, insights, and user feedback loops.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UX Designers. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Promote cross-functional collaboration across onshore, near-shore, and offshore teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in platform and product management, with at least 5 years in financial services or fintech. Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products in regulated environments. Strong understanding of Agile delivery, product governance, and customer-centric design. Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, compliance, and operations. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), DevOps practices, and modern architecture patterns. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Product Management (e.g., SAFe POPM, CSPO, Pragmatic Institute) are a plus.
