Digital Engagement and Operations Coordinator
We’re looking for an onsite Digital Engagement and Operations Coordinator in the financial services and policy industry.

Our client is a practical think tank dedicated to strengthening Canada’s financial markets. Their mission is to move forward proposals that demonstrably grow healthy, competitive financial markets in Canada, mobilizing savings and investment, unleashing entrepreneurship, and lifting the standard of living for Canadians.

The Digital Engagement and Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the organization’s digital presence, participant communications, media initiatives, and event promotion, while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role ensures the team has the tools, resources, and infrastructure to work efficiently while maintaining a strong public profile and engagement.

Digital Engagement and Operations Coordinator responsibilities: Design, format, and distribute newsletters, social media posts, reports, and event materials Maintain and update the website, working with the Web Design Specialist when required Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) including content creation, scheduling, and analytics  Support digital advertising campaigns and track performance metrics Coordinate podcasts, press releases, continuing education applications, and media outreach Promote and support events, including logistics, registration, and post-event reporting Oversee office and facilities management, including supplies, scheduling, and mail distribution Manage vendor relationships, IT coordination, and staff subscriptions for tools and platforms
The successful candidate has: 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content roles (nonprofit or financial sector experience an asset) A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Strong digital marketing knowledge, including social media platforms, Google Ads, and analytics tools Experience with website content management systems (WordPress), CRM systems (iMIS preferred), and email marketing platforms (MailerLite) Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with an eye for detail and design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience coordinating in-person and virtual events (Zoom, logistics, follow-up)
Compensation and benefits: The salary range is $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive extended health benefits package RRSP contribution 4 weeks of vacation
