Summary/Objective:
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Government Relations, the Digital Coordinator supports the organization’s digital presence by providing creative and technical support to the Communications team, with a strong focus on storytelling and visual media. This role plans, captures, and produces video and other digital content, supports campaign development, and helps coordinate the effective distribution of media projects across digital channels to highlight stories from the organization and its various locations.

Capture, edit, and produce photo and video content using professional editing tools to highlight stories from within the organization and its locations, following established brand and content guidelinesAssist in identifying story ideas and planning methods to effectively capture content, under the direction of the Communications teamSupport established strategies for the effective use and distribution of digital media and content across digital platformsAssist with the development and execution of coordinated social media campaigns, including content scheduling, posting, and engagement, under the direction of the Communications teamMaintain and update digital content across websites, social media platforms, and other digital channels as assignedCoordinate content calendars and project timelines to support digital campaigns and initiativesMonitor basic digital performance metrics and assist with reporting and documentationCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure digital content is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standardsThe employee will be frequently sitting, standing and walking. This role will require significant use of standard computer/laptop equipment. This role will be required to occasionally carry (up to 10 pounds).
Completed bachelor’s degree not required, but advanced study of digital media, film or communications (or related field) highly preferred
